About Redd

Redd Faye is a country artist redefining what the genre looks and sounds like, one lyric at a time. Her music blends traditional country storytelling with soulful grit, Native rhythms, and rock-edged energy, creating a sound that’s both rooted and fearless. Raised between Oklahoma City and Boulder, Colorado, inspired by her great-uncle, country trailblazer Stoney Edwards. From front-porch harmonies to Texas honky-tonks, earning her recognition, including Best New Country Artist at the Texas Country Music Awards. Life’s twists and losses ultimately deepened Redd’s songwriting, transforming music into both refuge and release. After stepping away from the industry, she found her way back.

Now, as she prepares to release her self-titled project, Redd Faye brings a raw, expansive body of work that reflects perseverance, authenticity, and connection

In Loving Memory

A tribute to my beloved uncle. Stoney Edwards was an American country singer. He was one of the first African-American singers to have a significant presence in country music. He is best known for the song, "She's My Rock," a Top 20 country hit that was later a hit song for Brenda Lee and then for George Jones.

My uncle was always so funny and brutally honest, but there was always a kindness to him.  His memories will always be cherished and he will forever be missed.
